Is your child having difficulty
- holding a pencil or crayon properly?
- forming letters correctly?
- writing within the lines?
- with spacing letters and words?
Handwriting is one of the major occupations in a child’s life. Children in elementary school typically spend fifty percent of the school day performing paper and pencil tasks. Handwriting difficulties, which include limited legibility, can negatively impact a child’s participation in classroom activities. It may also affect a student’s grade if teachers are unable to read their handwriting.
Greta offers handwriting assessment and tutoring services to pre-school and school aged-children to develop the necessary skills required for both print and cursive handwriting. Services include individualized instruction using fun, developmentally appropriate and multi-sensory activities.
Greta uses the award-winning Handwriting Without Tears Program. She is a certified handwriting specialist and licensed occupational therapist.
